C’est La Vie! Whether you like it or not, everything we possess NEEDS maintenance!!
That Thermomix you got to save time preparing meals for your family and yourself need upkeep as well. Is it still necessary to clean it? After a year, things start to go wrong, and you'll need to send it in for service.
A similar argument can be made for an electric bicycle. You must look after it. Period.
All those perspiration, cramped legs from lengthy rides and unhappy clients are annoying, but when it comes to money, we prefer to be cautious. It is our right to do so. After all, it's our hard-earned cash.
I need to pay off my loan.
The school expenses for the children are due soon.
My mother's birthday is approaching, and she'd like to visit that new restaurant on East Coast.
Fines.
The list could go on and on......
Now,
Here's what we recommend you do daily:
We assure you that these are only the fundamentals that can assist you. ALL YOU NEED IS A SMALL AMOUNT OF TIME SET APART EACH DAY BEFORE EACH RIDE.
- Chain tension - A tight chain puts more strain on the chain, making it wear down more quickly. When there is too much slack in the chain, it vibrates, causing fatigue.
- Check the bulbs in your headlights and taillights. When riding at night or on wet days, vision is critical. Because your life depends on them when you're on the road, your signal lights should be in functioning shape.
- The electric bicycle's physical appearance –
As the saying goes, "WHEN YOU LOOK GOOD, YOU FEEL GOOD!"
The same is true for your electric bicycle: if it looks attractive on the outside, you'll like riding it. You'll be inspired to ride for long periods, especially if you're a food delivery driver.
- Tires - Check tire pressure and treads with your hands. Your rides will be smooth if your tires are properly inflated and the threads are in good condition.
When the above checklists aren't cutting it, come into our shop and let us worry about it for you.
That's all I've got for today! During these pandemic times, stay well and safe.
